lol yes....slippery slope and been on it for some time, but I think the power mine will be putting out is just about controllable and will be enough, plenty enough!

Can't go wrong with a Quaiffe....I've been running one for years on this car and others.

Need one definately with our power levels.

mine would spin in all 6 gear in the wet.
dry grip only from 100mph upwards and thats on wide as you like tyres

4wd yes.. fwd it is excessive on a road car, scarey/fun but only on nice smooth roads with no camber or pot holes on them.

no its does'nt use friction plates. its panet gear same as quaife.
You thinking of a Kaz one maybe?

Peloquins have suffered stud/bolt failure on several cars I have heard of. Never heard of a quaife suffering such a failure (use VW bolts)

Dollar exchange rate has made the Peloquins less goodf value currently. MrsB Lupo runs one, I ran quaife's. Both work. My ibiza runs plated diff these days, formerly gripper (utter shite) and now SQS RAcing in the new dog box.

im at a similar crossroads. more power or better handling? the powers the easiest... you pays your money with a good idea of the outcome.
but how to get my current power round a bend with confidence , getting the most from the car and my driving skills seems more difficult. eibach sportline and rear arb work a treat but how good could it be?

Quaife sounds a good idea but what else? Better springs? front arb?
