Went to TRAX today
Managed to get just 3 laps of my track session before the power steering completely gave up steering was so heavy could barely turn the damm wheel so we pulled in got back to the pits and called it a day.
Think its the power steering pump, seemed better on the way home but its still heavier than normal, gonna check the rack out tomorrow just to be sure
Was really happy with the handling though and it felt really good on track
Lernt quite alot in just 3 laps, main points being
Cant wait to get the diff fitted!
Cant wait to get better brakes!
Ill see what its like with the diff but i feel the map is too aggressive low down for track use, even progressive acceleration the passenger wheel always looses grip at full throttle 2nd 3rd and 4th gear so depending how it is with the diff i may have it adjusted soon.

you'll love it with the diff mate i waited sooooo long to get one thought it was pointless as my car could get from 0-60 in 5.2 seconds and thought it was briliant but now with one fitted it leaves 2 nice black lines up the road and cornering is awesome it feeds all the power to the wheels and helps cornering alot i can't wait to get mine on track and see what it'll be like but on the road it's awesome
Sounds good, its arrived with Alex so will be fitted to the box next week, cant wait now

Along with some BKR7E Plugs which im gonna gap to .028" instead of the usual .032"
Next weeks list to do
Fit LSD gearbox
Fit decat downpipe
Fit power steering pump and fluid
Remove aircon
Full service
Front wheel bearing
Tracking and camber
Fit new N75 valve
Move shift box slightly further back and paint it black
Investigate the ABS TCS lights aswell, think it may be those damm wires rubbed through again for the 3rd time
Busy times ahead!

How do you keep going through wheel bearings?? Lol bigger wheels or spacers?

This is the best looking mk3 IMO. It's original and styling spot on. Wheels look sick in orange, ride height looks great and the bumper and fmic just make it look evil. I love this thing
