Christ, im 19, 2 years driving, 2 years NCB and my cheapest qoutes are £2,000 TPFT! :(

Only reason I asked is because I thought you were 17 :) If you're getting qoutes at those prices then i'd snap their hand off :)

yeah mate thats why i'm getting cupra mate i think they such good quotes and its fully comp aswell your quotes might be high because of the area you live in a when i was looking at quotes TPFT was coming up more expensive then just full comp try admiral i most of my mates are with them and they all have good car and cheap quotes :)

anyways back to the subject i try to find a jetex induction kit for the cupra just seein how much it will cost i on the jetex website they got ever seat ibiza model apart from the 1.8t :S

Area risk code for my area is D so its not too bad, my qoutes were all off comparison sites though. I tryed Admiral and they said they couldnt insure drivers under 21 on the car :(. Will have to give them a call when I renew :).

Back on topic; Blueflame, Forge 007p, Green Cotton replacement filter & Revo stage 1. With the mod's you're looking at doing, thats what i'd personally go for :).

Your 18, and your insurance is £1600 on a cupra?? I pay that on a chill.. I'm 17 with nil ncd!! If you want those kind of mods, try adrian flux, they are awesome for mods, unless you dont declare them... But why would you do that ;)

Good little thread, iv just bought my ibiza cupra and im 19. Paying 2000 on the insurance so 1600 is a steal.
On the mods though, i was thinking of getting a FMIC and then maybe a new exhaust system , but nothing expensive, a powerflow or something. Also a panel filter and then i was thinking stage 1 remap.
should i do anything else before the remap, i really dont understand the n248 vlave n75, but iv also seen n75 valve mentioned.

ERR because its against the law and your insurance will be VOID! I pay 1800 on cupra and when police come fussing over as soon as they realise how old I am they ask do the insurance know about the MODS?

Luckily i can keep my asshole in one piece because they know about mods.

Unisured drivers should be banned straight away![:@]

Btw what car was u driving before?? You may want to get used to the car first mate before You go increasing its power:)

jordan mk3: i no its a steal mate i checked my area insurance thing a its a A group (A being low rish F being high risk) i reckon i can get it cheaper then £1600 thats a online quote so if i ring up i may hussle a little bit plus my mum and dad will be on there they been driving for 30 years +

i been driving a year in my mums 1.3 starlet i really cant wait for the power change

ashmin786: thats all i am doing a fmic, stage 1 remap, DV, full exhaust, induction kit

i cannot find a jetex induction kit anywhere someone help me please

insted of opening a new topic i thought i would add a queston.

could someone please explain what the N249 + N75 bypass actually does and what are the pro and cons about this mod?

also a full turbo back blueflame what is the difference between 100cell-200cell cat

thanks chris
