Which ones let you put in 290? I’ve tried Sheila’s wheels and could only put in a 300. Got quoted £800+. Best I’ve got is AXA for £580 using comprethemarket but that’s also on a 300. Bit worried about what the potential increase will be on a 290, I’m 25, 7 years driving with 6 years NC.

Im 43 and had two quotes for the exact car so far (290)

Halifax (£100 voluntary, £100 compulsory) £445
RAC (£100 voluntary, £100 compulsory) £442

Still waitng on Quote me happy to get back to me

For all of you waiting to see the mystery blue and copper combo, the Germans have some pics:

Maybe it's just me, but it just looks like someone painted the bits themselves with spray paint bought from Homebase...

All I can think of when I see that new colour scheme is an old-skool 90's Subaru Impreza WRX...

Yeah the copper badge looks very plasticky because it is matt and not gloss.

Very useful pics. May still be more copper coming into post BW 42 as per Seat missive to dealers of 03/10/18 (I quote)
  • Steering wheel gains copper SEAT logo
  • Interior copper and black detailing
  • Media screen logo becomes copper
There are a number of customer orders in the system that will be built after this change takes effect in week 42 2018 (starting 15 October), so these orders will receive these changes

Maybe this is SEAT's way of generating more revenue, get rid of the left over copper badges from the r, sling em on the cupra, no one likes em, trip to SEAT Dealership for new badges, boom £50 in their top pocket......
