Hello,

I need your help guys. Using the images provided by a Seatcupra.net user, which I thank, I’m building a similar pipe but need help with the IAT sensor measurements.
At the moment, I haven’t got that time to go the mechanic or disassembling the original intercooler at home, and that’s why this install is taking soooooooooooooo long, so ask for your help.

I need the measures A (distance between the two holes and diameter) and B (diameter).

(You might be thinking, why didn’t I bought the OEM Seat parts or the Forge, ok, you are right, but this time I want to take the custom way, so lets see how this turn out).

Hello Max,

Its a EGR suppressor made of 6061 aluminium and then cut in a CNC machine.

The top sensor its a SPA Design Boost sensor.

It was made to my "dream"

hi guys the car ive ordered comes with xenons and headlight washers how easy to fit the fmic with these as i dont want to keep the smic for too long

Not sure if you can have the SEAT SPORT fmic as its too big to fit past xenons and washers etc but the forge one will fit.

well been onto allards today, even though i dont get mine till november ive booked in with them for feburary, what are seat like when it comes to the warranty? do they get awkward?

its booked in for phase 2 conversion, which is the fmic and remap, im hoping to have a decat on by then and pd160 intake and panel filter, just one question where can i get a decat do miltek do one

I dont know the milltek pat number but try these guys www.awesomegti.com, they can supply parts if your wanting to fit it yourself.

Hi all,

not posted before, but have got some really good advice and help from reading info in this forum. I dont have a Seat, I'v got a VW Polo GTi 9n2 and I need some help please. I want to fit a FMIC and would prefer to go the Cupra route. I am fairly sure it will all fit as they are very simular vehicles but before I part with my hard earned it would be great to see a Cupra FMIC in the flesh and compare it to my Polo. If your Ibiza is an FR with the Cupra FMIC or a Cupra I would be really greatful if we could meet up and compare cars - that sounds really gay!!!! I am prepared to travel - I live in Watford.

Anyone??

Preston? its quite far from you but ive put the cupra intercooler on my tdi with forge pipes. Im sure i could offer some good advice as i shed blood, sweat and tears over fitting it!!

Cheers ph2858, Preston is a very long way from me!! But I need to check before I spend my money. Any chance you could email me some pics of your engine bay, specifically the pipe work from the Cupra intercooler to the old intercooler boost pipes and where the Cupra intercooler sits in front of the Radiator. Did you need to change the crash bar at the front? What kind of difficulties did you have to over come? Really greatful for any help here

here you go:
Side mount removed

you need to cut this of the front pannel

all mounted up

cut the upper part of the bumper also the lower clip mount where the pipes run

all done
