Thats strange, you'll buy a very expensive Forge intercooler, you'd expect it to fit just right, but now you can't even mount you're foglights

I have another question that could be interresting for everybody. I would like to put all temperature logs with all different intercoolers (smic, forge, seat sport, aftermarket universal) under each other so you have a good image of witch cools best.

Keep in mind cooling ain't everything that's important with an intercooler, it's design is very important to keep the final pressure behind the throttle valve as high as possible.

I know there already are some logs available on seatcupra.net but I cant find em all. To begin with I,ve got mine here with the original smic.

Seat Ibiza 1.8 20vt FR remapped @ 214 BHP
Intercooler: Original SMIC
- Old type FR Bumper log 1 - Outside: 19°C - Oil: 97°C - Water: 97°C
- Old type FR Bumper log 2 - Outside: 19°C - Olie: 100°C - Water: 100°C
- Modded Cupra Bumper log 1 - Outside: 19°C - Oil: 97°C - Water - 97°C
- Modded Cupra Bumper log 2 - Outside: 19.5°C - Oil: 100°C- Water - 96°C

This log may not be correct as it is performed by Forge itself.
Seat Ibiza 1.8 20vt FR remapped: No
Intercooler: Forge kit for Ibiza MKIV
Outside air temperature, 16°C - 4th gear run

This log is from user smark32
Seat Ibiza 1.9 TDI PD130 remapped: Yes
Intercooler: Stock smic
Outside air temperature: unknown - 4th gear run

Seat Ibiza 1.9 TDI PD130 remapped: Yes
Intercooler: Stock smic - REMOVED FOG LIGHT
Outside air temperature: unknown - 4th gear run

This log is from user Damoegan
Seat Ibiza 1.8 20vt Cupra - remapped: Yes
Intercooler: Stock Seat Sport FMIC
Outside air temperature: unknown - Gear: unknown
This is a strange log, as I don't know what scale is used on the horizontal axle. The vertical one shows very low temperatures beneath 35°C

If anybody else could post there logs here would be great.

 SeatSport style kit? What do you mean? If you mean a front mount, then it's been out for years. I should know as I had the first ever one when I had my first Ibiza. In fact, it's pictures from my old car on their site...

The Forge pipework doesnt go that high up - so if you buy the Forge pipework and Intercooler, you wont need to that pipe as you dont change that pipe. :)
