MK5 Wheels on a MK4

Sorry to post another will these wheels fit thread but i need to know if 16"x7j et54 mk5 Ibiza alloys with 215/45/R16 86H tyres would fit my 2005 MK4?

I think I'll measure the pdc of my standard steel wheels to be sure, most info says the mk4 is 5x100 but I don't want to risk buying wheels that won't fit.

The struts, brakes etc are all the same on a MK5 so cant see there being any clearance issues

Gonna be in the arches though, as per std on SEATS

that's cool as want to keep it standard looking :)

I remember that somebody on here put MK5 rims on a MK4, didnt look that bad. didnt look fantastic though. I quite like the MK4 rims myself

The guy selling the mk5 alloys on eBay confirmed they are 5x100

Re Rims

The PCD is the same but the offset is too high you'll need spacers to bring em out and maybe longer wheel bolts too ??
Ideally on a MK4 the offset should be 35 - 38 .
