Finally got around to fitting the rebuilt Alternator

Was let down by the powder coaters and not got the brace back as yet

Nothing terribely exciting lol

Bit of an update with Cadwell Park track day looming

The strutbrace had become bit of saga, twice i went to collect it and it was not ready and when I did the monkeys had bent it and even painted it still at least it matches the rockercover now

Coilpack mounted to the strutbrace rather than to the engine itself after the previous bracket had failed

Bought these fancy balljoint extenders, they help keep the wishbones level with a lowered car and the geometry or somthing..... will also help when I get the brake cooling shrouds on when i rout the flexible housing under the driveshafts

Also chucked on a new set of DS3000 pads and grooved discs and only a few bits remaining till its ready for Cadwell

Still got an ABS fualt to cure tho and looks like I might be roped into sorting out an overheating Bora next weekend

Good luck with abs fault, bining it could be simpler.

Its on my to do list, tho I need to get it fixed for the trackday or shall be wary of locking up the rears and spinning

Not plugged in the vagcom yet, somthing is definetly amiss as I was sitting stationary at some lights with my foot on the brake then felt the abs pump activate and then the light came on
