Cheers DK, i'm slowly getting a collection of them :)

The ghetto bumper is growing on me :help:

I was in Stu's ghetto Ibiza all the way to AmD looking at it in the rear view mirror deciding if i liked it or not (even i'm still unsure)

already grew on me, and i got busy chopping :D

looks good roly, and i thought it would be faster aswell

It goes well on the track, aslong as it does that i'm happy

Looking as mint as ever Ben,

In the end its not all about power its the driveability that counts, long as your happy.

Anyway its a darn sight quicker than mine.

Keep the ghetto bumper.

Can't fault the way it drives so i'm alway going to be happy, always going to want more power though

Ghetto bumper is staying :)

Always pleased to see an 'update' on this Ben.... coming along nicely, although it looks like your plans for it aren't quite finished just yet ;) Will it ever be 'finished' ?!?

It'll never be finished mate, i'm sure once this lot of mods is out the way i'll be looking into new turbo's

Update time, the begining of the end!!

With the rolling road day out of the way it's time to set to work with my next stage of mods.
Today i started with the engine removal and strip down in preperation for checking/boring out, engine is now on the deck with most parts removed, tomorrow i'll be splitting the head/block and stripping the block down ready to be checked on monday, i'll also be giving the workshop a damn good clean as it's a bit of a state

Hopefully after the rebuild it'll stay in 1 piece for a while, engine's been out every year since i done the conversion so would be nice to leave it alone and just drive it (somehow i don't see that happening)

my god! you never stop taking this thing apart do you!

I get bored easily what can i say ;)

One thing Ben, Can't take you long to get the engine out now.

I'm getting good at stripping mk2/3 now, in the last 3 years i've had the engine out of mine 4 times i think, Martin's twice, not to mention removing the standard engines from both cars and the 8v lump from Martin's old cupra sport, think i need to find a new hobby

Today i finished stripping the block down ready to go off for inspection tomorrow, our workshop isn't the biggest so had to improvise for working space (the sissor lifts do come in handy in other ways)
The front of the car is back together and the boot is loaded up with everything i could fit in, just need to fit my dummy shafts and it's ready to be towed home and sit in the garage doing nothing.

Next step is to clean a few bits up, see what the verdict is on the block and then start rebuilding once a few more parts turn up, i'm aiming to have it ready for track time in may but will all depend on the arrival time of other parts and what else i decide to change/replace while it's in bits.
