Your phones still got a better camera than my actual digi camera tho!!

I'll send what i have of your's accross at some point mate

Finally got windscreen sorted, 3rd time lucky but had to be a genuine screen as they couldn't source the top tint one anywhere but main dealer, bargain for £60 :)

Cheers dude!

You jammy git! I want the top tint, thought about going somewhere to get a light tint put on, but i've got better things to spend my money on :)

Good old insurance and like for like cover, not sure it applies to screens but i wasn't having anything fitted but the same that came out.

Worrying thing was the best part of half of it if not more wasn't bonded properly on the drivers side pillar and im sure it was the original screen that was in there

Hi Roly, How is the JBS05, I'm running a K04 hybrid of similar spec and would like to know your opinion.

At the moment im still getting used to it, haven't driven it much apart from to brands and back and one track session.

Im used to the spool up of a k03s so was a bit different getting into a k04 powered car expecting the same thing, it doesn't kick you in the back like the s did and full boost is about 1k rpm further up the rev range but once it comes on full boost it just keeps on going.
The map is really smooth and again completely different from what im used to.

Really need to get out and drive it a bit more so i can post up further opinions, but all in all im happy with the setup and the way it's all running

Ah Right,
Don't worry about he later spool theres ways of bringing that back down. The turbo loves lots of air and until i fitted a massive Jetex cone and a custom 3 inch Tip i struggled the same. With these mods i gained alot more air mass G/sec and 2 psi of boost across the range. Spool came in a sooner too. A 3inch turbo back exhaust system with a quality CAT and no center silencer will reduce it further. You'd be surprised the diff the 3inch zorst made to a 2.75 system but it will be a little boomy.

Thanks for the advise, noise doesn't bother me as it's on solid mounts with no soundeadening or cat so bloody noisey as it is.
I'll be looking at carrying out further mods in the future so will add the above to the list

Well since the turbo conversion there hasn't been alot of work happening due to lack of funds, my next task is to clean a few bits up and maybe carry out a few little mods.

I've had a new set of side skirts sat at work for about 6 months so decided i'd remove the old ones, clean the sills up and get the new ones fitted along with new bolts, clips and rivets.

Under the skirts was dirty but not as bad as some of them i've seen and thankfully no rust patches showing anywhere, after a quick spruce up i got the new skirts fitted and also gave the underside of the car a quick blast off.

I've only got camera phone pics so there not the greatest but you'll get the idea

youy really know how to clean dont you??? looks great...

Wouldn't say that, just knowing how dirty it is under the arch liners i knew the side skirts would be the same

looks sweet what was up with your side skirts?

Couple of broken clips underneath and a few of the lugs broken on the actual skirt, they've been like it for ages just never got round to changing them over
