sell em on and get some VR shafts - or use em and monitor inner CV joint wear - mine broke but it was doing full bore starts on slicks

I'm halfway through what Bill did with his front arches and was going to stretch the original bumper around, but the proper looking wings would look better.

How did you separate those lights? respect.

Heated up the sealent with a heat gun and then ran a stanley knife along the join to seperate them abit and then you have to find a gap and keep heating it up and prising it off bit by bit.

Can be a bit tedious...just watch you dont heat it up too much as the plastic will melt and watch when you use the stanley knife as it goes strate through warm plastic lol

I heard you can bang them in the cooker at full temp for 5 minutes and do it that way but i dint want to risk it!

Abit slow to be honest lol just waiting on some cash to buy all the new bushes etc so i can rebuild the subframes and start bangin it all back together lol

I have been a little busy painting more stuff, rebuilding what i can and actually started on the engine last week so it is looking up now!

Heres what i've done since last time though...

The beast after a good clean and stripped down abit...not looking too bad underneath all the grime so wont be too hard getting it gleaming again!

After the engines done and the subframes are back together thats most the parts prepped and ready so im going to have a week off work fully strip my car down, clean everywhere, weld, waxoyl and get it rolling on the new subframes atleast maybe with the engine in aswel...

Ill keep you posted with the progress.

Thanks again, Dan!

I'll start with the bad news and to cut a story short the car has hardly progressed due to shite english weather and lack of funds, i wont bore you with the details lol i havent been completely lazy but ill save that for later!

to be continued... :p
