I got done at 20.00 on a winters night when it was pitch black dark out side, *******s!!

Really?! That is mad! Did they pull you over after clocking your speed or was it a ticket through the letter box job?

First i knew about it was a ticket through the door a week after the incident.
3 points and £60 fine

Thats why track driving has to happen for me as theres no fun left in the roads up with us.
There even sitting on A/B class roads

It is getting ridiculous! Thankfully the B roads (that should be C or D class ) around me can still be fun; even without breaking the law dramatically

Right, about time for an update.
Firstly, I didn't get caught speeding when I thought I had !!
Secondly, this weekend I will be fitting new slimline HIDs, DIY FMIC, and hopefully badger 5 330mm 2 piece from discs if they arrive in time

yea 6000k; I've had 6000k and 4300k in the past, with 6000k full beam too; but 4 big ballasts in my engine bay is irritating me so I'm going to give the slimlines a try! All my HID bulbs have blown now and I've been running standard halogens for 6 months, but with 130watt main beam (on an auxillary wiring loom)

what size fmic are you going to use? i have been looking at doing the diy fmic myself

it is the same size as the one nev used in his diy install (search for nev_lcr diy fmic). It is in the shed, I'll measure it tomorrow after work if I remember!

Didn't realise there was one out there with black wheels and black mirrors, looks spot on.
Are your wheels gloss black?

yep, gloss black; and the splitter and mirrors are halfrauds generic gloss black with a few coats of laquer.

Right, in 4 hours between getting home from work and now I have:
Removed all 4 wheels, wheel arch liners, front bumper, twin intercoolers and pipework, battery, airbox...
Installed HID kit on one side, forge map pipe, the intercooler itself!
Also painted my rear calipers in hammerite smooth red, and done my rear arb at the same time as it was looking a bit sorry for itself!
Pictures to come tomoro when it is complete!
Unfortunately my brakes are on back order so will be next week now
