Model Year 21/22 Mystery bolt.

Can anyone shed some light as to why this bolt would be here, there's not one on the passenger door?

I take it it's the drivers door?
That bolt pulls out the lock cylinder if you need to replace the door lock as you only have a lock on the drivers door.

Oh and you should have a rubber boot over it to stop water getting in.

Thank you very much for that Matt. Do you know if there should be a sound deadening pad on the underside of the bonnet? There's not one on mine. I'm currently going through the dealer to get a few other issues rectified so want to get everything done at once.

Bonnet insulation / sound absorption

I notice that my eHybrid doesn't have a sound insulation mat fixed to the underside of the bonnet. Is there any particular reason for it not having one to anyone's knowledge? I realise the 1.4 tsi is very quite when running under normal conditions but it does get a bit noisy when accelerating...

They're not expensive according to one of the posts in that discussion topic, so maybe you can persuade the dealer to give you one for free?
