yah kinda as i said its abit short as tho it cuts out all of a sudden still get a bit if a shhhhhhhhhh when i just ease off accelarator but a quick kacha when i change gear!

cool, mine was worrying me as the cone seems to make all noises sound weird

mpg figures and pull away suggest the car is running sweet though

seems to make it smoother to drive, quicker dv responce after gear changes and may have ruled out a little problem which used to occur when the car is cold started
jerky accelaration and occasional splutter here and there..
or maybe i had a vac leak from the start
dunno, but so far so good still pulling strong

can any one tell me where the scilone hose goes on the manifold on the aug version leon 180 cupra bypass .does it gone on the fpr hose connection under the manifold or the other one as on the picture it does not show .i am sure some one said the un used one but i cannt find one without a hose connected to

as far as i'm aware the pd engines don't use a dump valve, so I would suggest this was not possible on yours martin

Not just PD engines, no diesel engine has or needs a "dump valve", so there is no N249 to bypass.

I will take pic's tomorrow and let you know the spec of the resistors i think they need to be 10hm but i will confirm tomorrow.

That's because you are leaving the valve connected, to the loom.
