Phil the hose isnt missing its been redirected.

That 'powerboost valve' is a rising rate fuel pressure regulator which removes the standard item from the fuel rail. If you notice theres a pipe/fitting in place of the standard regulator which goes up to the rrfpr on the top of the engine

Phil to be honest i bought the car like this and have no idea why it like that hence the post with the pictures, if i knew what standard looked like i would do that.

Pidge that thing is just a state to be honest i want rid of it,

no, no map just the standard 180 from the cupra r's, so 3 bar should be sufficent.

well think you have me hooked on a different turbo maybe throw in a hybrid after the s once i learn more.

So would it be worth me getting a 4 bar then even though i have a ko3, but in the future will be getting a k03s hybrid saves buying things twice?

Dont think so bud, but you really need to get the gremlins out the car before you start doing anything to it :)

There is a lad in Aberdeen who will shortly be selling a K03s turbo which is in need of new bearings and seals. Might be possible to get that and send it off to be fixed off and tweaked at the same time to give you a good 250bhp in conjunction with the usual bits like intakes, intercoolers, uprated intake hoses, exhausts, 4 Bar FPR's etc etc.

I sure do need to get rid of the gremlins, hopefully pidge will make it up nxt month and get my fuelling back to standard, and get my new maf, n75, outside air temp and check my lamba connections.

Hopefully that should do the trick then the modding can begin. May get in touch about the turbo will have to see what sort of a payrise i get.

I dont think you need another MAF as the fault never came back after it was cleared.

Update

Pidge, my dad and I were on the car the whole of last night, till 3!

Removed the powerboost valve, fitted a 3bar fpr that pidge has kindly given me a lend of N249 and N112 bypass done thanks to pidge's soldering skills. SAI removed and forge blanking plate fitted, and n75 changed as I still had the c version on the car so the updated F went on. All the vac lines replaced and tidyed up and hidden away.

Pidge noticed that my dumpvalve wasn't working, after some investigation the pipe work was on the wrong way on the actuator ports, It still wasn't right so dumpvalve off and taken apart cleaned up all the old grease and refitted and tested for vacuum all was fine. Disconnected the battery for 5mins to reset itself.

Took the car for a run and there was hesitation when the car as under load between 4000rpm and 5000rpm, after a quick search on here it looked like it may be spark plugs and coils,

Coils and sparkplugs taken out to find the spark plugs really sooty cleaned them up and back in they went. 2nd run of the car and the car was backfiring repeatedly at 4000rpm. I know that the car is due a service so oil and sparkplugs will be getting changed soon, and will check to see if any of the coils are weak or just knackered.

I haven’t had the chance to get the car up onto the ramp to have a look at the lambda connection but should be within the next couple of weeks.

Also my secondary water pump is running excessively long after the car has been switched off and need to pull out the 30 amp fuse nearest the wing on top of the battery to switch it off, could this be why that fuse melted before? New secondary water pump needed?

I’m sure pidge will correct me on anything I’m wrong In saying

Sounds like the FSE PBV was letting the car run way to rich. There is still the lambda fault. If its still there then you need a new lambda. On the faults there are no missfire codes.

New pre cat lambda getting ordered tomorrow as a few people has said to do this, which was picked up on vagcom and never cleared.

New spark plugs from halfords today, went in for ngk's guy argued that I needed bosch super 4'sas the computer said so, so I gave up and just took them.

Thanks. Will try some new coils. Remained only, coils, lambda and fuel pressure valve.
