Oem K04 Power Output(Debate)

Im not too sure if this has been Mention before but anyway Im wondering what does everyone thing the max output is off a Non hybrid k04 at Resonable Boost (peak)

The reason im asking at the moment as im currently Building up my cupra R and so far the Mods Are:

K04 forge Actuator
K04 turbo
Custom 3'' Tip
Forge 007p (yellow Spring)
IE uprated Connecting Rods
Inlet Manifold Phenolic Gasket
Large Jetex Filter
Blue Flame 2.75 System
3'' Downpipe & De-cat
N249 bypass
INA/034 motorsport Exhaust manifold
Stage 2 Snow Peformance WMI Kit (175ms Nozzle)

would it be Realistic to say, could it see 300bhp Or around that number...Fair enough Its Running WMI But i want that for mainly Cooling Propertys But if i can Advanced the Timing on a ''Mild'' mix then Even better....I havent looked at mapping yet but the Apr Stage 2 with V-tune does seem the Most Ideal for me..Due to the Service and How close they are...

What map you running, Danny? Has it been mapped to take the WMI into account (any advance timing?)?

I think you would be lucky to see 290bhp....

Im still on the OEM 210 map Damo at the moment im just fitting new parts and the mapping will be the last think i look at..

But the APR stage 2 would be a good shout IRRC? Ive been doing some searching and seen 2 people on here make 293 & 297 with 4.45 + Advanced

i reckon around the 280 mark, don't think its possible for the turbo to shift the amount of air needed for much more. Then there's dyno lottery as well

i think he made 293bhp with 4.45degrees off added timing via lemmiwinks & Maxed out stage 2 revo t9 b9

280bhp and lads saying higher figures in the 290's, well I would question the dyno.

I know of one person claiming in the 290s with graphs and to be fair thats not on a roller i would see as optimistic, i rekon i thinkin of one of the same people as danny

Mine did a solid 275 on Jabbasports dyno, stock engine, 3" downpipe, decat, Grs front mount intercooler.

All depends how friendly the dyno is , my guess is no more than 290

no std k04 has made >260bhp on my dyno yet... only hybrids exceed this figure.
on a dyno which reads std cars at std power, i believe its realistic numbers.

300bhp from stock k04... I cant see it. higher flow mani? hmmm. only time will tell what etra the k04's got in it with some extra flow to it

nope, not on a realistic dyno...
i am pushing a hybrid to get these 300 figures.. it dos'nt come easily sadly..

Haven't you got anymanifolds yet from INA/034 motorsport?. To test with a OEM k04 But like i said Even the High flow manifold Should release some Power .

yep, 260 max "real" bhp on my dyno on stage 1 or 2, 210/225 motors thus far

think that 180g/s is a 225bhp motor (1.25 conversion)
get 216g/s and you *could* be in the 270bhp region

how much do you think is left in a k04 which cannot sustain much more than a bar of boost at 6krpms or more..

the more i see and dyno, the more data i wil have, but the numbers most commonly touted do not replicate here, and do not corrspond to required mass airflows.

with your mods, it should run well of course when setup optimally

Got back from rollers today motoscope seemed to have there rollers bang on this time IMO I got 271bhp with the same lbft

I see your point though Small turbo On Bt simular power...Id to give up on the WMI as i need a new clutch so il be ordering a SouthBend through sammy but it will be interesting to see what it could make...

Im going for apr stage 2 with v-tune but once its been RR'd at awesome i woulnd'nt mind a day trip downsouth to you to compare RR to see what you think..
