I had it last Saturday. It was a small update with some background system service updates, but it didn’t fix the infotainment rebooting. I’m on A896, the latest available version for my car (310, MY22) according to the garage.

Had a OTA update today for 1940 (it stated bug fixes ) and it brought back the kmh mph issue so with acc that was on the 1890 version
it tried to take me to 120 mph in a 50 mph zone
i hope it hasn't reintroduced old issues again

120kph isn't 50mph, maybe it's picked up the speed off an foreign registered lorry.

hi i know it isn't no lorry in front of me and no signs it used to do this on the 1890 version before it got updated i had no issues on 1940 version
I never had it come up with a random speed, it's always been the exact kph to mph conversion, e.g. 50mph sign read as 50kph sets 31mph on the ACC with simultaneous application of the brakes! :)

I think mine still did it on 1940, just on the first drive during / after a infotainment restart then never again. Now on 1969 but not noticed it do it since (yet).

I always wondered whether it was the map data incorrectly having a segment digitised as kph rather than mph when it first came up. People were moaning about the same sections... then there was the undertaking issue or was that the left / right digitisation 🤔. Thats what I put that one down to. Sudden braking when overtaking. You coded the side movement imaging off on the lane assist camera to fix that.

Probably as you say the firmware may default some of the camera reads to kph. The firmware probably doesn't get enough QA and just in time methods used to roll out the next update. The fun of the MQB Evo platform.

Speaking of map updates for non-Connect App subscribers...

Clearly inaccurate expectations set here.
Sure that is not the Seat one. Not having mib3 I can't read the dates in the files since they are scrambled. I have posted up the latest ones from the VW site which you can use here:

Files are interchangeable between Seat, Skoda and VW. VW one's are always generally the best. So you'd pick the VW November release. MartiniB on the Skoda board has sniffing out programmes that find these files before they get wrapped in the publishers webpage. He's yet to find the Seat one which will mean they haven't got anything new.

He did give a breakdown of creation dates the other day since he's planning to junk his connect map subscription. Can't find that post at the minute.

Basically when I started to look at the mib3 links the Skoda and Seat ones were hopelessly out of date. VW file is the way to go. Generally the maps are signed off six months before publication. That's always been the same with mib2. Thus I reckon you might have the Seat link not updated. Just Seat and Skoda are more under resourced and more mistakes get across.

I'm busy helping people in Australia with mib3 on the Skoda board 😂. Success with that one. So yes I've posted the mib3 map updates which are across platform on that link.
