PART Identification help please

This was supplied to me by AUTOBITS who assured me it was the correct cat converter to fit my 1997 SEAT Ibiza Cupra Sport GTi 2.0 8v AGG engine type car - the fitting MOT+Repairs station said rubbish, it's not nearly right and I saw for myself that there was NO WAY it was right for this car. Phoned them back and they said it was correct. Refused to refund or replace after I waited several weeks for another part (downpipes) to arrive via a TNT delivery driver who assaulted me and drove off with my stuff. BEWARE TNT + AUTOBITS! It was funny tho, the mechanic said "that wouldnt be wrong if I'd ordered it" so I let him get a replacement. He got sent wrong one! hehe

Before I can re-sell it, and it's brand new unfitted, I'd like to know which car it is really for; the more I know, the better salvage it ought to be for someone. Underside says CAT002, in a box is e5, also 08 06 (date?) and 00 0001 Can anyone help? Id greatly appreciate it.

is it in 2 pieces by chance ? and the original all in one ?

Thanks for replying. The cat is one piece...the connector section also in my pic is whats shown in yours #265-119. Converter bought via AUTOCONTINENTAL apparently it came from CarPartsWarehouse; the Downpipes from AUTOBITS, Im afraid both are a nasty bunch of guys because the former have sent me a piece of junk that was nowhere near fitting my car and wouldnt refund, and AUTOBITS sent downpipes through a company whose deliveryman assaulted me and they couldnt even say that they were sorry to hear that! Nice eh...

the original is most likely in one piece but as you have to drop the subframe to remove it (manifold flange is too big) replacements inherently come in 2 pieces to make it easier to fit

even seat themselves supply it that way now - catches a few suppliers out
