Parts Needed !

Cupras sold & been replaced by a damaged TDI SE in same year & colour !!

Its gone up onto a post & wiped out the following -

sump
n/s wishbone & bolts
front subframe
engine stabilisor bar & mountings / bolts (lower back of engine to subframe)
n/s/r light
n/s/f fog lamp surround
front bumper
n/s/f headlight
Both airbags & belt tensioners

Engines flopping aboout a bit so may need the other (2 ?) mounts
Noisy , sounds like exhaust is blowing so need to investigate that 1st.

& looking for a lowering advice ( can i just fit cupra springs ? )

Also need a mintish set of TT or S3 alloys (17inch)

Any ideas on a good source of used parts ?, i have emailed the 2 ebayers that are breaking Leons a day back but no replies yet.....

you may of bent hubs and suspesnion to mate

Yep maybe, the rims a little damaged & wheel is back an inch however it was hit square on the front wishbone mount so looks like that & the subframe took 90% of the force.. i want to lower it anyway so may get a set of used struts....

Chassis looks OK , i will measure it all once its stripped..

& looking for a lowering advice ( can i just fit cupra springs ? )

i got full sus to if needed goto replace my hub as i had an accident mainly subframe but no hub bent to and you wont noitce it until you get 4 wheel laser and alignment tracking done

Here goes & please correct me where needed -

1 - you have a full set of suspension available
2 - I may need a hub ?
3 - I wont know if i need a hub until i do a laser check ?

If the exhaust is blowing on the Downpipe it's a good excuse to put a new DP on, if it's cracked on the longer straight section under the car or the cat is knackered ... just replace it with straight pipe - no closed loop emissions / lambda sensors on a Tdi

Yes i have suspension for sale if it fits then you can have it for £50
Yes hub may not be found until you do alignment and something else may come up its hard to tell until you do the above really

Fester Man , yes... a great excuse for a decat, is it correct that theres no lambda in the cat / downpipe ? if so the MIL wont come on then ?

Virtually all parts sourced now apart from an FR front bumper , a decat pipe & plastic engine cover & rear window switches. .

Tried"motors in motion" last as their ebay ad looked expensive but they were quite reasonable & professional.. got most of it though from............Fenland Breakers - they were cheap ! - airbag kit , subframe & wishbone for £210 delivered !
