The clutch is working perfectly! ive had the slight smell of clutch last night when i did a few gear shifts, but it cleared straight away!

Ill hopefully be getting a claim in a month or two, (car crash victim, not in my car :p)

so more mods will be planned. untill then, im going to lay down and relax my poor back and neck! :(
wiplash is seriously sore! :(

Any pics of the crash fella? Glad it wasnt in your car! I had a crash ages back before I could drive and my back plays up now - I'll probably be in pain at ED38 but hey ho!

What's a Sinclair C5?

i love the car, its slow its low and its ok by me :)

the engine is a old 1.6TD engine with 59 bhp when it came out of factory 18 years ago

no maf sensors, no turbo actuators, no intercoolers, just a simple engine with a mechanical pump, and yes it can be screwed out but i wont be near it. 191k on it now so its still going strong :)

Hy Phil!

Did you ever do any time measurments with your Ibiza?

0-200kp/H per example or 0-100....

Do you have any acceleration videos from your tachometer?

BTW: These gauges with replay are really sweet*g* Didnt know something like it is available....

(But 1.8 bar boost is far to less for 255hp, this car would smole deepest black like hell, for acceptable clean 255hp lets say with a little grey haze you need 2.4-2.5bar boost....)

Greets, Alex

sorry alex, i havent took any measured tested of 0-100, i only ever took a video of the 40-80 test in 4th gear, it does smoke like the billyo if you put the pedal to the metal, but ive found that if you bring it up to 3000rpm then go from there on the smoke is completely minimal. to be honest im not that bothered with it any more.

its in the shed its parked up, covered over and sorned. Id much perfer as for the minute to drive the jetta, the engine is one of the most simplest engines i believe i have ever seen.

no air mass sensors, no ecu's no vacuum pipes as the turbo just spins up to a certain speed and hovers there, and a choke to pull in the mornings when its cold.

As for the guages, there pretty easy to get from DEFI they specialise in guages for dash boards with compatible control units that record sections, adjust light dimness, warning levels,(e.g if the exhaust temp guage reads 700oC it will beep at me to warn me of my exceeded levels :)

You need 2.4-2,6 bar of boost @ 4000revs to make 255hp*g*, not down low.

And for that amount of airmass the stock cylinder head is to restrictive, flow capability of the head end at about 230bhp...

But i think to get me those gauges, they are really nice!
