Philsips hybrid turbo ibiza TDI

recent suprises,

even though the works been done and finished, it still makes me smile! 3rd gear is the real pleasure gear! lol

as for clutch slip its not there any more!:) i dont know how or whats going on but i think the clutch has somehow worked around the power! it grips the whole way from any rpm!

even with all that power, i still dont really go hard on the car! ive given it a few blasts just to see how it compares to higher status cars

I had a run against an Rx7 slightly tuned, and started leaving it slowly

a run against an VXR astra and started to over take it easily

and lastly against a slightly tuned DC2 integra type R, where we where more or less even till the 115mph mark where it hits its limiter ;)
not bad i thought as the last time the same car had a go at me in standard form it got at least 20 car lengths lol, about 100 metres at least

im still averagely getting about 300 miles to 40 quid atm, but can get easily 400miles + on motorway miles purely!

i just wonder, does this very informing thread make anyone else want to try this sort of tuning?

4000 miles of hybrid TDI and loving every second of it

I'm about 75,000 miles of hybrid TDI to the good (about 40,000+ in current 250+ tune) and it still makes me giggle and laugh like a little boy when I use it's power hard. :D

Decided to get a small photo shoot done with my mate saj with his 540i, a lovely day with the sun baking the countryside meant it was foolish not to ;)
