What fitment is the fog light and brake light on a cupra?

Rear light bulbs

Fog light...................................................12V / 21W (H3)
Indicator light............................................12V / 21W
Brake light / rear light..................................P21 / 5W
Number plate light......................................12V / 5W
Reversing light...........................................12V / 21W

Simple main headlight bulbs

Main / dipped beam...................................12V 60/55W (H4)
Inicator light............................................12V / 21W
Parking light.............................................12V / 5W (501 - W5W)
Side indicators..........................................12V.WY / 5W

Better to have the bulb number than spec

Cost me about 97p for two in Tesco ... fortunatly the one that went was on the opposite side

Well its not H7, as thats the headlights, H1 is the full beam and 5w5

Just done a search, and found a post where it says h7 for the foglight.

IIRC it may say what bulb it is on the bulb unit, check it when you take out the one thats not working.

the front fog is 100% an H3 i changed mine not so long ago

sorry to jump on your thread does anyone no where i can get h3 bulbs in the dark ice blue colour got me headlights changed but cant find the fog light bulbs, i have only seen the extreme white but there a lighter shade of blue on the glass which doesnt give off a blue glow

dont forget Cupra model has twin reflector lamps

side 501
main H7
high H1
fog H3

on std version (single reflector) non cupra
side 501
main/high H4
fog H7

all models inc cupra use orange indicator bulbs

only real oddball is the Ibiza CupraR that has Osram Diadems as std fit indicators and ice blue sides (501)

Pull it out and take it to your local shop. Its a universal type bulb, for interiors and number plates etc.
