Looks good doesnt it, boost, AIT, various temp sensors etc... along with MPG details, fault codes, and small amounts of data logging all run off the ODB port.


Seem reasonable price too and quite small, rougly the same size as my SE k800 phone.

Doesnt mention a lot of cars really. I know a lot of tdi people are using them in the US, and the focus RS boys are loving them so i cant see why it wont work.

according to other websites this will work with any model with ODB 2 port which was produced after 2000

Bill, i was on about mk4 tdi owners sorry. As far as i have read on vortex etc... it does work including the MAP.

MAP doesnt work on mine, everything else does tho. Nice little fault code clearer and gauge tho.

Manifold Absolute Pressure. The sensor that tells the engine how much boost its making.

Phil is it just your scangauge 1 that doesnt do MAP or is it both that dont record MAP figures.

£116 inc P&P, id just like to know if it does things like records boost and would it be able to detect stuff like a missfire on cylinder 3 or is not that advanced ?

^ Thats where I got mine from. Ordered it late thursday night, came saturday morning special delivery.

My Scanguage2 doesn't do MAP.
