I found my Recaros on eBay, the front and rear seats were different colours but I was retrimming them so it didn't matter. The only downside to full leather is that it is cold in the winter and hot in the summer!

Simple noob question here though, how easy is it fit a Golf/A3 or anyother VAG seat into a Mk1 Leon, do they just bolt straight in being as they are prettym much the same floor plan?

Doorcards, roof liner, pillar trim do not interchange, they are model-specific.

Seats and bench-seat have the same floor fastenings around the Golf Mk4 platform, even if shape may be slightly different.

My black leather Golf Mk4 Recaro interior:

Was originally red and black cloth but I had it retrimmed in Nappa leather. Front seats are heated but just haven't wired them up yet.

Nice! I was thinking of doing the same foot well lighting in my mk4. It seems easy enough done tbh!

I also want puddle lights also easily done

Cheers mate i've also put LED's behind the door handles and in the door pockets. not the best photos i afraid i'll have to do some better ones

Are these powered off the illumination for the window switches?

what is needed to do this ?
