Side skirt jacking point - less

The clip at the front of the side skirt that removes so you can jack the car up has been nicked so I went to SEAT and they told me they can get me one but I have to get it sprayed up myself! Is it me or does that sound ridiculous? Any one else had this happen?

Sounds right to me, anytime I've had to buy a wing mirror cover or anything like that it's only ever come primed.

Ok thanks, so is it just a case of taking this small clip into a garage and saying can you spray that for me?

pretty much yes. Cant cost much being that small.

yeah i spose - but I can see whats coming - the minimum order for the paint is 5 gallons, an hours labour + vat so that will be 164 pounds please haha

I would say most non franshise paintshops will do a job like that for cash, you just need to be cheeky enough to ask, but not via the reception desk........

I've had three of these...for the aero kit that is... the dealer should be able to get them done for very little and if they can't phone another dealership with a paintshop with your colour code and see if they have any in...might save you a few quid and get a "paintshop" finish...
