Just looked back at page 2 of my thread where I took the exhaust off, it doesn't look like it narrows on the LCR, seems to be the same diameter all the way through.
No it's not mate and to be honest with the cost involved I'm not sure it ever will be, unless I find the best part of £2k down the back of the sofa lol
Just go for a stage 1 map then if your clutch does start to slip you can switch it back to standard till you have funds for an uprated one. Some on here still have the standard clutch and its lasted.
There is a small amount of slip already though mate, I can tell when I bury the throttle, I certainly don't have the funds for an uprated clutch so it would be a standard replacement when it does get changed.
Quickly took the wife out to show her the difference in the sound now with the Revo on, luckily she loved it I thought she may have thought it was too much but win win
I was hoping to do some kind of review on stock versus Revo by now but what with the poor weather and the clutch slip I have at the moment it's quite hard to give an honest appraisal on things like throttle response and any feeling of possible extra zip.
Unfortunately it's looking like the next step will be a replacement clutch which I hadn't budgeted for
So I'll be looking for a local VAG specialist to get some idea of pricing then comparing that to what the Seat dealer cost is before making my decision on who I get to do the job.
Its a shame money's tight man, if you can, go for the Sachs. The price for fitment will be the same no matter what you fit so just try and stretch that wee bit further.
How much is Sachs eck? I'd love to stretch the budget for an upgraded jobbie but I just don't think it's doable mate at the moment the standard spec is out of my price range lol
