^^^^^they don't "fit" any car other than a leon cupra r as that is what it is made for

you can make it fit any mk4 ibiza if you are carefull, I have a pre-facelift mk4 and I made it fit fine

Hi Nath, thankyou for the info and the pics! Looks great!

Yes I understand the Splitter is made for the Leon but a number of members with Mk4 Ibizas have also started fitting/using this Splitter?

From what I understand, there are Two 'posts' in the middle of the splitter that should be cut down so it sits flush to the bottom of the bumper?
Regarding the width of the splitter, does it nicely fit to the width of the Mk4 bumper, or requires cutting down a bit?

Cheers again in advance :)

the width is fine but u have to trim down the end bits at the wheel well as they are too long otherwise they will overhang into the arch and hit the tyre

I think if i remember rightly, we chopped about 1 inch off either side. Might have been a little less.

part num is on here there about 20 quid in total just need a few self tapping screws and some masking tape to hold it in place

Save some people some time - The part number is 1ML 805 903 and the price is only £16.99 + VAT (£19.96), main dealer!

Sounds like a fun, fairly quick, inexpensive project. Will be ordering one soon!
(after all how hard is it to trim a piece of 'plastic' to size, then screw it on!) :)

Cheers for the feedback and info guys, much appreciated as always.

bizzaboy , first of all , don't cut the the two 'posts'(as you say) in the middle of the splitter ! Also , don't cut more than 3 inches from each side of the splitter .
This is a pic from my pre-facelift ibiza with the splitter fitted :

P.S. Sorry for my english!

I like the fog covers painted, they look really smart might get that done to my next one as it will be a prefaclift lol

Im not too struck on the splitters. this is only my opinion like. I don't know, there's just something that looks abit odd with them on facelift models, like on a cupra it just looks slightly out of place. Its probably just me with personal taste, but hey we all need to do things we like.

Hey killbill, thanks for the info thats great - Nice front end too!

The bumper in the pic looks similar to mine - does it have a Black skirt on the bottom edge of the bumper, that curves back?

Mine has this black skirt which could make it a little more tricky securing the Splitter to it.... it's a job that you have to commit to, once you start pre-drilling holes for screws etc, theres no turning back! :D

....but going on the great (close up) Pic that you have provided above, think its got to be done. Will keep y'all updated, expect a pic or three sometime soon [B)] ;)

Yes, it does. I mounted the splitter straight on this skirt , using short screws for wood , with wide screw thread .

Again , sorry for my english

Ive gotta say Ad lav, thats gotta be one of the best looking mk4 beezers on site. There isn't an angle it looks bad from!

Hi Mate, thankyou for your info.

Not good news though - went to the SEAT dealer after work today, they had this item in stock! BUT... apart from that centre piece (where the posts are), as it sweeps round either side, theres hardly any plastic left to actually secure the screws - it goes really thin!?

And if I did mount it to the black bottom skirt section i feel it will sit too far under the bumper to really be effective? Hmmm. May have to re-think this?

Did you secure yours to the black trim, right underneath, where it goes flat?

Cheers again - also your English is probably better than mine!! :D

You must drill a hole on each of the "teeth" marked at the pic below .

Then, use screws to mount it straight on the black part of the bumper . Don't hesitate , it is pretty stable if you mount it like this !

If you look at my previous post , there's no gap between the splitter and the black plastic part

Hi killbill, that's exactly the same item as they brought out at the dealership this afternoon... will go back in there with more confidence this time - they're going to love me! :D

Will keep you updated..... ;)

If you keep those splitters at those angles they will be needing replaced before long, they are asking to be dragged off by a kerb or speed bump.

fitted mine in the week...

fitted my leon cupra r splitter last wednesday and just took some pics. Nice mod for £20 imo, what you rekon?
