How do you get enough clearance under the car to screw the screws upwards, into the Splitter and Bumper?
...I'm starting to think I'll need to ride the front wheels up a couple of those metal ramps, so i can get enough space under the front end to get the job done.
I didn't need to jack mine up. I just used a quarter inch ratchet driver with a screwdriver bit attachment on it.
so it was like a right angle ratchet screwdriver and if you use self tapping screws they go right through the splitter and into the under side of the bumper
I would love to have access to things like that as I have a very slight rattle on my zorst that I would like to sort out without a trip to the £££££dealer's£££££
Someone said earlier down this thread that you do not need to cut the two center 'posts' when installing it on the pre-facelift mk4-bumper. I took a look at it myself, and it seems the posts are too high to be fitted underneath the bumper. can anyone clear this one up?
