does any1 know if the Tdi engine cover would fit on the other diesel's with the right connectors? im sure it would but wanna make sure lol Thanks guys.. and if so part numbers for the cover and connectors?

Tdi Cupra engine cover

The engine cover from the Cupra TDi was an exact swap for the engine cover under my TDi FR. It's easy to remove too, it clips on at the front, and has one large screw on the top, in the middle. Really easy!
Not sure if it would fit over any smaller TDi engines though, only the 1.9's...

its a good job mine is a 1.9Tdi then.... just need them clips and large screw would be intresting finding the part numbers lol any1?
The clips are built into the engine cover, it almost latches onto the engine at the front. As for the screw, you will already have that under there. It's on the top end of the engine cover, closest to your windcreeen. It's pretty large, and is screwed into a round rubber holder. I'll try and find a picture...
so what if mine didt come from the factory with an engine cover with no connectors then? im pritty sure i dont even have one accept the extension oil cap which is strange....
does anyone know the part number for the cupra engine cover please? is it the one that says 'seat sport' on it?
i only have the bottom left mounting clip and partly the top one but not a full mounting clip thing as i know what it looks like but mine isnt like it... Thanks for the pic mate!
the pic is coming in handy lol just need to find a written off cupra which i could take the connectors off lol and maybe the cover...
The things you need that "lock" the cover on at the front are attached to the engine cover. If you find the cover, chnages are the grippy hook things it has on it will be there also

i have just asked a scrappy on ebay if they have one as they have some cupra bumpers plus they said they scrap all vag cars only and have lots of stuff in as its just plastic i wont care to much lol
