I thought I would start a thread as it might spur me on with the leon. Ive owned it for about 4 months now and to be honest its fantastic to drive and really comfortable.

However ive got quite bored of it now so i thought id join the site hoping it would rekindle my first passion for it.

well i dont really know what to do with it to be honest, The guy i got it from said it has REVO stage 1 software but it would be nice to find out for sure.

It also has a black silicone hose from the Airbox which im told is a good mod.

D.K on here is a friend of mine so im hoping he might spur me on a bit lol.

So here are the current and first Pics.

Plans are to get it on the RR, Im secretly hoping it is not remapped as im used to the power and want more.

After that who knows. If i cant get into it then it will be up for sale/swap very soon.

Nice to see you bought a decent car at last mate
Get the pipe from the airbox goes down to the Turbo it's called the T.I.P, the OE ones are prone to collapes under high boost when the get older, also check the DV if it's plastic get rid and replace it with a Forge 007p.
We'll have to meet up soon so I can have a proper look at her

yes mate, could be best to get you to give it a look over and also give it a drive to tell me if its mapped or not.

Well its now the decided one im keeping it!

Just ordered my 80mm Jetex filter and im trying to find someone to do the roof and rear spoiler in carbon.

Plans are Everything really, need to get exhaust sorted and 007p just dont seem to be too many second hand bits around though unfortunately so this could get expensive.

Looking forward to getting to the RR day though...

im going to go for some lowering springs too, about £100 on ebay. Also want some 10mm spacers for the rear to get the stance looking a bit better.

Right well as ive put in the mk1 room i had a horrible misfire with no power and no boost.

Today My vag Com lead arrived so i set about checking it.

2 Errors.

Multiple ctlinder misfire.

Cylinder 2 misfire.

When having a look cylinder 3 had been replaced with an intermoter part.

Rather than mess around i went down to GSF and bought 4 coilpacks and 4 spark plugs.

Took 20 minutes to fit and we are now running right again.

Thnaks for everyones help. Ive got some pics that i will post later.

As promised, here was what i did Saturday. Not very interesting but what can i do!

And heres probably the most undesirable engine bay on here

cover off and very oiley underneath!

next up is removal of coil packs and spark plugs..

One intermoter part obviously new, Why do people change 1 when they are all going to fail around the same sort of time?

Old plugs... Looking quite horrible!

And hey presto, All finished.

As i finished the postie turned up with this.

so back out with the tools, and heres what it looks like in the bay.

definitely a better noise but not what i was expecting to be honest.

Boost is not linear so neither is noise, Im going to get it looked at but i think dump valve could be shagged.

So thats next on the list.

Also want to get rear spoiler poss carbon fibre and im considering roof.

Wheels in anthracite, Lowering springs and spacers on rear. Hopefully before bromley.
