The boys at AmD will sort it mate.

I dont think I did see your graph in the end, have you posted it ?

You got a lovely car mate don't get disheartened by it I hope it is not too bad fingers crossed and chin up. When they ate all good they are awesome cars hope alls good :)[B)]

Right well the news from AMD is that the car has multiple boost leaks coming from 2 or 3 split pipes. The car was going to be all done on friday but one of the pipes is out of stock so i have to wait till monday.

Kind of puts things on ice for the wheels and springs. Wheels have not arrived yet anyway but everything else has.

Im just dying to get the stance right and the wheels on!

looks like AMD is gonna be about £180 so not too bad.

Right Big Update...

I got my 20mm rear spacers my 5mm Spacers and my Wheels all together today for the first time so now its time to fit it all to the car.

First task was picking the car up from AMD must say its a massive difference!

the steering wheel wants to try and come out of my hands now, probably due to needing all new bushes lol but its a change for the better. Much more powerful all the way around to the redline.

So i got home and took a couple of pics before the progress started.

And then it was off with the wheels to change these, i opted to do the rear first as i dont have any spring clamps.

Then it was time to fit these, they are really well made but i have not seen spacers like this before. If people say they are unsafe then ill change them "what do you think"

and rear wheels on... Im hoping for the suspension to settle a bit as i have not drove it yet but im really happy with the finished look.

the difference between the front and rear in this pic is massive...

I cant wait to do the front.

Can i do it without spring compressors????

there it is halfway there and now no boost leak

THINGS ARE LOOKING UP!

cheers

well ive given up for tonight as the son of a bitch front strut wont come off. need the right allen key so that i can get the top off then i might be able to get the bottom off.

has anyone got any ideas for how to get the fronts off.

i dont think so mate, they didnt say. Ill just have to look forward to the next RR day, hopefully will have exhaust sorted by then too.

Maybe even front mount if you sell me youres for what you paid for it.

just ordered spring compressors as it looks like i need them to get the drivers side out.

Trust me to try the hardest side first. I got the cheapest compressors though £9.95 lol.

this car might just kill me yet.

You got no chance mate

Well we are in business. 15mm spacers have arrived for the front and i have one side all done, it looks wicked.

Im going to get the other one done in the next hour and ill grab some pics. Will be nice when its on all 4 wheels again!

excuse the pictures im no david bailey. Car is also dirty and not low enough.

Unfortunately if it was as low as others on here the fronts would definately rub. The good news is though that there is no wheel wobble and no rubbing. Woo Hoo!
