Don't do it, keep the blue'n'black theme going!
New sub - old amp - new location
Hiding the amp away - rear quarter
and
sub temp location in tyrewell space - have 25mm mdf ready to cut to size and give a better fit
an idea of the plan
Plan is to router the sub into the 25mm MDF

If anyone didnt know fotopic have gone into liquidation
Have moved to photobucket now
Anyway recent additions
20mm spacers on the rear - thanks mike
Colour coded mirror covers
Colour coded lower grill
Enjoyed painting so much did the battery cover as well!
Catch can using pepsi can
Also added better earthing user good quality cabling and more earthing points

Had to make a custom mount for battery took a few hours

Don't go facelift!!! Us Pre-facelifts need to stick together! haha
I was thinking about facelifting mine a while back, but dave @ SERE can only post them if you can supply a box big enough as he can't source boxes and the couriers don't seem to want to touch them.
All in you'd be looking at about £400 for both bumpers plus the cost of painting them.
Personally, I'd rather spend that elsewhere.
On another note, car is looking very well You still around LTP? Can't believe I still haven't hit you up for a chat! Been snowed under at work!

Lots of people on here have had success on ebay or their local scrappys
Only problem is if the get the bumpers then il get the whole car resprayed!

Brakes are my next purchase - found a v6 4motion passet in a scrappy - take front and backs off it

I ended up down my local with a few mates anyhow
Will certainly try to come along to the meet though.
Battery box!
Spent a few hours making a new cradle for the battery allowing the battery to be angled and bring the bmc intake to the front of the engine.

Need to tidy it up with silicone hoses but for the moment keeps the intake temps nice and cool
Not sure what what to do with fuses on top of the battery tho!!!

Agreed, keep it as is Tom.
Good effort with the brakes. Take your time refurbing them. Did you get a new seals kit?
Not sure about the battery move though TBH.

Still getting rust of the calipers and carriers - hard job!
Will be ordering new seals for both front and rear soon - going bigg red
Keeps my intake tempetures as low as possible - seen a few degrees drop so doing some good
