New sub - old amp - new location

Hiding the amp away - rear quarter

and

sub temp location in tyrewell space - have 25mm mdf ready to cut to size and give a better fit
an idea of the plan

Plan is to router the sub into the 25mm MDF

Colour Coding!

Enjoyed painting so much did the battery cover as well!
Catch can using pepsi can
Also added better earthing user good quality cabling and more earthing points

Had to make a custom mount for battery took a few hours

Good work! I think your car would look really great with a facelift bumper and fr/cupra rear with the fr/cupra lights as well. Would probably be the only one on here with that colour being facelifted.

Don't go facelift!!! Us Pre-facelifts need to stick together! haha

I was thinking about facelifting mine a while back, but dave @ SERE can only post them if you can supply a box big enough as he can't source boxes and the couriers don't seem to want to touch them.
All in you'd be looking at about £400 for both bumpers plus the cost of painting them.

Personally, I'd rather spend that elsewhere.

On another note, car is looking very well You still around LTP? Can't believe I still haven't hit you up for a chat! Been snowed under at work!

I think it would look great in that colour facelifted - very different that colour. As said dave cannot send them due to the size Lots of people on here have had success on ebay or their local scrappys

Only problem is if the get the bumpers then il get the whole car resprayed!
Bit out of my budget for the minute but an idea for the future
Brakes are my next purchase - found a v6 4motion passet in a scrappy - take front and backs off it

Battery box!

Spent a few hours making a new cradle for the battery allowing the battery to be angled and bring the bmc intake to the front of the engine.

Need to tidy it up with silicone hoses but for the moment keeps the intake temps nice and cool

Not sure what what to do with fuses on top of the battery tho!!!

What do you think?

Also have got 312mm calipers carriers and 256 vented rears which im refurbing at the moment. Will be fitted when i get a chance

Also cruise control from kufatec - £93 deliverd to be fitted
German instructions!

Good effort with the brakes. Take your time refurbing them. Did you get a new seals kit?

Not sure about the battery move though TBH.

Still getting rust of the calipers and carriers - hard job!
Will be ordering new seals for both front and rear soon - going bigg red

Keeps my intake tempetures as low as possible - seen a few degrees drop so doing some good
