Put my car in on Monday for warranty work. Paint defect on rear panel and Seat boot badge had started to flake. So i get a call this morning saying it will be ready later on today - when originally I had been told I could collect on Wed Morning 9am. Now I've called up to see what the score is and I've been hit with (salesman) "oh when I was driving it, I heard a very faint clicking noise from behing the steering wheel, I think it is the slip ring thats away." I've never heard it before! Now its in for another day (thursday)! - To add to the pain i've been given a VW 1.2 Fox - with arnold clark plastered all over it.

Dealer: Arnold Clark Seat/VW Linwood. - Nothing but lies, backtracking and excuses. [:@] :censored:

Mine is in and it is only 4 weels old...... i have rattle in the headliner and a rattle from the gear stick/gater. Also a Very loud knocking from the front right suspension when off load.

I was given a 1.2 FS i think:blink: and its rubbish...... can't wait to get mine back.

Mine went in for some bits and they said they would keep it in until next day to replace some suspension parts as they said they heard a knocking. I never heard it myself..next day came and the parts didn't even arrive!

You guys get Loaners !!!

:-o Don't get me wrong I feel for you guys having to put your new rides in the shop. But you not only get loaners you even get nearly new ones at that, even if they're sort of gutless:cartman:.
Besides gives you a chance to both appreciate your own pocket rockets more when you do get them back.
Could also consider that it may give you a better understanding of what it's like for all the drivers of these lesser vehicles... As we blow by:whistle:!

Luke I was the same - I kept turning up at the brach without notice and being a complete ****. Persistance is the key i think. Mines was in for a paint defect and the rear boot badge was peeling. But you've really got to keep on at them. I eventually skipped the saleswomen as she was a lazy bugger. I just took it upon myself to go the the warranty desk lol! - Next thing they were out with the camera etc! - They didnt get back to me either!! 6 days later I called and they said they were just about to call me - Yea right!!

Chrissy boy - Got the beeza back now - Keep your eyes peeled for me!! ;)

if its caused by stonechips then no,but if it is a genuine defect in the paint then yes
