All done?
Happy with it?
All done, and very happy with it 👍🏼 It’s what the car should have come with from the factory imo. Flys now.

He couldn’t turn the start/stop function off unfortunately though. Something to do with VW emissions. They’ve made it difficult to fully disable.

I’ve treated myself and got all 5 wheels painted.
Had 4 done 5 years ago when I got the car but had them powder coated and to be honest I’ve never been happy with the bright silver I went for.
The spare was left in it’s original colour but scuffed state in the boot with a very worn tyre on it.
So with a trip to Le Mans in a couple of weeks I thought I’d get the 5 done again this time including the spare.
Extremely happy with the result. He did 4 yesterday, leaving the spare till last to get an exact colour match.
A new matching PS4 tyre fitted to the spare and they all look amazing.

Seems wrong to keep this in the boot, should be hung on the lounge wall. :ROFLMAO:
Maybe I’ll have a word with the missus.

You have a 280hp car that you're getting remapped.
The fuel economy ship has sailed surely 😄
Managed to get average of 34.3mpg on a run from Stoke-on-Trent to Wolverhampton and back with the stage 1 Cupra 280. Which I didn’t think was too bad at all.

Ironically, last year was only the second time I’d put fronts on it in 5 years and 16,000 miles. The rears were still okay, just old so I changed the lot.
Only done 960 miles since last service in June last year so they are still new tyres.
Now the spare matches at least if I get a puncture out and about I can just whack that on and I’ll still have matching tyres. :ROFLMAO:

Not had chance put it on rollers yet. Quoted 350bhp and 460nm. A local company mapped it. They work with Quantum Tuning.

Yes, definitely. There’s more lower-end torque in gears too. It’s not night and day difference, but it’s definitely noticeably quicker.

Not so much the car but as I do work I really felt the need for a workbench. But I'm cheap and so took some pallets...

and made this...

It's a tad high at just over a metre from floor to top of the work surface, but lots of room to work at 1700x800 and stable enough (even with some shoddy cutting).

Like it.
I used to be a joiner, currently building an extension at home.
I’ve kept all the pallets that stuff has come on. I was thinking along the same lines and make some bench seating in a corner of the garden.
