Gave the steering wheel a good clean & polish :D

I wanted it to look a bit Matt but it's come up a lovely shiny black !!!!

Exactly what I did to mine today, I wanted it to go back to a Matt finish.

My brother uses a Magic Eraser in his CaymanR to clean surfaces so we gave it ago on my dash and steering wheel, the results are amazing!

All plastics are looking like new and the amount of grub removed was shocking

Soak in water and squeeze out then generally clean areas rinsing as you go, just dry off with a clean cloth.
Don't use it in the smooth plastics area the gear gaiter though.

The seatbelt pillars came up a treat!

This is the item, about £5 for one in Wilko and it'll do the whole car, can be used on engine and wheels too.

So I got new (correct) glow plug harness from TPS, £39:

Decided to wrap it in waterproof tape to make it more OEM:

All plugged in and routed as original:

I ended up cutting out as much of the original loom as I could, it was well taped in so just left 2/3 in the tray!!!!!!!
Just managed to get everything back in as the rain came on in force  so will scan 2moro to see if the fault has cleared
What's the pn mate? My old silver one needs a harness.

Bought my 5th Leon, a red FR+ tdi to drive whilst my Cupra R is made into a different kind of beast.

Hey Josh, sorry for late reply - the correct part number (4 wire harness) is 038971220D and cost £33 from TPS.

Changed the thermostat and coolant sensor, in hope that they were the reason for no heat. Also checked the water pump and still no heat. So looks like I'll have to do the heater matrix at some point.

New clutch on saturday inc oil change and a shim in the rear of the box to stop the noise in 5th.

Also fitted a glowplug harness and relay to sort that problem out.

Light came back on thismorning with the same code:(
