I'm trying to decide whether to get rid of them altogether and try and find something that will fit the centre, or do what you did...

Hi mate, when I got my wheels powder coated - Black Chrome - was told that he couldn’t do the plastic centre covers the same due to heat and blending colours. So I peeled off the SEAT emblem and got them sprayed Gloss Black, then bought some stick on FR emblems.

I've been thinking of either doing something like that or getting centre caps that'll fit the FR wheels and either putting bolt covers on or just shelling out for new bolts.
The trouble with respraying the existing covers is that I don't have much luck spraying plastic parts that are flexible - the paint always seems to flake or split. How have yours lasted?

Bought a couple of parts to test on the spare engine, doing prep work in the garage, moving interior parts (double DIN setup, armrest, most of my interior) indoors and getting ready to install the Milltek stainless steel system.
Course now I'm thinking "What can I sell?"
I'll admit I'm putting off the work a little due to the cold... it's too cold to actually turn on the garage heater ?

I've just dug out my 7mm allen key to do this when my snot won't freeze.
How did you do it? I'm planning on putting the car on axle stands, wheels off, compressing the spring, undoing the top bolts, taking the bush and bearing out from underneath, replacing them and then tightening it all up again. I've got a 21mm socket for the top mount I can slide the 7mm through and get an adjustable wrench on the socket to undo it.
