Realistically what's your budget? And if you want it to shift properly stuck **** then I'd opt for 1/2" all day long.

I totally get what you're saying mate, ive recently stuck a decent set of Recaro front & rear seats in my R and I'm still concerned at how the hell I'm going to keep them clean with me getting in with my grotty work clobber on and a horrible sticky kid in the back?

I do love the cars you see outside Halfords though - the one near me had a GTR outside it, which I guessed was the manager's, and you see a lot of Fiesta STs, souped up Focuses and the occasional Supra.
In other news, I just ordered a Milwaukee stubby M12 1/2" with a battery and charger. I've seen a review where they suggested the 3/8" version worked better, but others say they're more or less the same. If it can undo the bolts for the shock absorbers, I don't see it having any trouble anywhere else on the car. Maybe the driveshaft nut, but I'll give it a try...
