I am looking to mod my LC, and have already fitted a Bailey RV and will be in the process of smoothing the airbox and adding a green filter.
I am on a bit of a limited budget, any and all ideas welcome.


Possibility of a bit of a large payout from the insurance company after some moron decided to swerve a branch and total my last car, but i cant remember what happened.

Handling, styling or performance mods
What budget do you have?
Will you do the work yourself? If so what experience do you have?
And last but bny no means least try using the search function about

Handling and performance will be doing the easy jobs myself. I have VERY little experiance and to be honest I dont have much of a clue about Re-Tuning Ect

Search for 'dog bone mount', 'ARB's', 'Strutt Brace', 'Remaps' and 'Turbo Intake Pipe (TIP)' in the search function, that should keep you happy for a while

I have had my LCR remapped by a powerseller off ebay, came to house and remapped with one of his many programms from germany. Cost £250 as i live in S wales but if you live near midlands it will be £200.

My car is still running fine and still reliable as had a conservative setting shall we say.

jason is his name if you wanted to ring him, nice guy too and you have a
variety of settings to choose from, mad, fast, conservative etc...

depending on what you want. He deals around the midlands, liverpool area but i pad an extra £50 and he came to S.Wales

Just had a nose myself and looks like the price is now £295 but is was £250 when i had mine done.

Still reasonable price for what increase in power you get

short shift is a great cheap mod (£60-80).

R front splitter is only 18 quid. green filter (40 quid)

or save up for a remap.

i think that bloke signed up on here a while back claiming to be one of his own customers raving on about how good his maps were. i'd consider using an established map from one of the SCN site sponsors.

I dont think i would fancy geting a map from anyone other than the company's that are on here, Fair enough you may save some money and you may not have any problems but what if you do get a problem.
AmD maps are very good and good prices

fitted by local garage with me over their shoulder the whole time making sure they applied the correct torque settings.

i did notice a difference - now i've got vibration white finger!

The only vibrations I feel is when move off initially. Apart from that I feel no vibes
