xenon ballasters part number?

Hello and happy new year on the board

I just got my new BI-xenon lights for the leon, but i can see that the xenon ballasters are missing

Does anybody have the part number for those ballasters, and dosnt mind sharing?

you'll be glad to know I've spent the last 30 mins getting ETKA to work and now I need to update it as I don't have all the SEAT updates, unless someone comes up with it before me, I'll try to get it for you 2moz.

wasn't sure on year/model so checked Leon 1P 06/08/09 and all came back same number

4L0 907 391 Control Unit for discharge bulb

If it helps the same unit is fitted to a few other Seat/Vw/audi

Thanks alot, ive used countless hours on updating my etka, but it just wont show anything for seat

7.0 updated to 622 it says

mines a bit out of date with 7.2/253

just wondered if it was a copy of 6 as they need a different install file to run the different marques

You need to go into C:\ETKA\prog\

edit these files:

ETKA_SE.INI
ETKA_SK.INI
ETKA_AU.INI
ETKA_VW.INI

and under the header [KONZERN] change the firmen variable to the below:

firmen=VW,AU,SK,SE

Save them all and start ETKA, if you've got the updates in the folder it should then update them all. However you will have a few issues, click the SEAT logo and select maintenance, then INI- Editor, (just ok through any errors) then under the communication header click other communications and untick the checkbox and click store.

Should get rid of most of the problems

hi there i did the bi xenon upgrade on my leon fr and i went to a motorfactors that deal with valeo and ordered them from there, the part no is 043731 they are about £70 alot cheaper than dealer and the same just no seat box

i've got now aftermarked xenon but i want oem xenon
what do i need to order?
the xenon headlights.

You also need an adapter-cable from Kufatec.de, and a vagcom to code the car to the oem xenons

i have just fitted these also... no headlamp washers or auto levelling tho...

saying that...i have no manual levelling either now :Lol:

Same here... Got the washeres in the bumper though, just not connected

but i already know that the headlights are +- 430 € a pice
don't know if the ballasters are inculded because an other price by another dealer was
338 € a pice

Ballasters, bulbs or electric hight adjuster motor are usually not included in price of headlights It is a quite expensive mod, if you dont got ebay skills, or a buddy that works at a VAG dealer
