Hi All,

My car was servced about 1500 miles ago by the dealer, the service light has now come on so I think that the service warning thing wasn't reset. Can I reset this myself? I have searched the forum but cant see instructions specific to the MKII. The info may be in the handbook but I dont have access to that at the moment.

TIA

Call up the dealer and they should be able to talk you through it. Ive done this on my bro's Ibiza and my Leon- its a combination of the ignition and trip reset/clock adjust button on the instrument binnacle.
Good Luck

Push the trip reset on the dash and turn to the left or right i cant completely remember and that shuld reset it do this when you first switch the engine on

Thanks to all.

I did this last night and for the ease of future users searching on the same subject the procedure is...

Hold in trip reset stalk
Turn ignition on
While stalk is still held in turn it to the right
release

Job done.

Cheers
