hi ijust swapped my ford fusion 1.4tdci for a seat leon cupra t 1.8 20v i have notice the differance in fuel i have a 6 speed box on this one compared to my fusion what mileage would i get from it has no mod upgrades just standered from factory

Ive been as low as 26 for town driving and up to 35 for motorway journeys sticking to "around" 70.

Depends on the state of tuning really, and style of driving.

When its getting towards the end of the month... payday, I can get about 35 round town, cruising at 75 I average around 45-47. Pretty pleased with that really...

Alex, those figures are impressive. Is it mapped for economy?

Its got a jabbasport map on it, not mapped for economy as far as I know.

I have to drive with a seriously light foot though.
I think it may be to do with the slightly bigger turbo not spooling up as much when pootling about?
I dont rev over 2k either when Im driving eco.

best i've had 460 miles to a tank, 46mpg
worst is 85 miles to a tank, 8.5mpg

totally depends how you drive, but like myki says, why buy a cupra if your bothered about fuel economy? get a diesel if your after economy

o and i hope no one trusts the trip computer, because its a load of arse! especially on mapped ones running 4bar fpr or bigger injectors etc...

as apparently i get 56mpg and over 60mpg on the motorway! hahaha i wish

i got 45 average according to the on board jobbie!! and ive got a stage 1 mapped cupra

that was on a 108 mile trip. in total i covered 290 miles and i averaged 42 mpg!

im well chuffed although before that trip i was averaging 27mpg :(
