The cone is no longer fitted to the car, I just did'nt like the way it looked in the bay and I'm pretty fussy about how my engine bay looks :D

Even with the modded airbox fitted I pulled a run of 280.4 BHP - 315.9 LB/FT which for a Stage 1 map is excellent, I had only re fitted the airbox about 10 minutes before it went on the rollers so there might be a bit of adaptation to take into account aswell.
However on the drive home the car was an absolute animal, much better than it was on the drive to AmD when I had the cone fitted, I am now pretty happy the 3" TIP has made an improvement.

I will be speaking to AmD very soon about putting the full stage 2 map soon this should make the most of the 3" DP and cat and the new 3" TIP.

Hey Darren,

Congrats on those figures; the car must feel great. The addition of Bill's TIP sounds to have been a great investment, as reported by many others too. Good to hear that you're content with your choice to stay with the panel filter; the performance does not appear to be compromised at all, over the open cone.

How are you getting on with the S3 washer/engine coolant cover?

James.

Solves my problem this as I wont be doing an open cone but want the Badger TIP.

Glad to hear the results from this mate.

Do you have a final spec your running engine wise?

How are you getting on with the S3 washer/engine coolant cover?

I now know how I'm going to extend the cover but I'v got a couple of other bit's to get done before I carry on with the cover, Also the resin and laquire set better when the air temps are a bit higher :)

Engine spec so far are
AmD stage 1 map, Milltek Turbo back exhaust, Forge FMIC, Forge 007p, Forge Boost hoses, PiperX cross panel filter, Modded air box with 3" cold air feed, Badger 5 3" TIP.
