You need to get out more mate lol. good luck with the sale
Personally this car is too good to sell and had far too much TLC that another owner will not fully appreciate or see it's full value.
You would be mad to sell at this point in time, if someone is prepared to pay your asking price fair game, if not stick with it and enjoy![]()

To be honest, all your posts read the same so i skip over them quickly as to not melt my brain with the "my car is so clean, and its the best in the whole wide world"

hi there i was in the same dilema when i put my58 plate fd2 up for sale last year, my car was minted and was low mileage never been on a track which most of them have, but it took me almost a year to get it sold,i had it priced at 17k which other ones were getting sold for in england, but in the end i had to drop the price down which broke my heart cause deep down i knew that there was rough cars out there getting sold for a lot more.my location did not help my sale as i am about 40miles north of aberdeen, really it all depends how much you want the other car,to be pefectly honnest i would keep your car cause you are going to loose out and if your as fussy as you sound you will never find a 2nd hand car that will be suitable, thats why i had to buy a new car when i changed![]()
Hmmmm... Yours also have a repeating theme...if u find it so boring I wonder why you feel compelled to read & comment.
Like the old saying, if u don't have anything positive to say, best not to say anything at all...
The shityourselfthin plan
If you bought it CATD and removed aircon, seats, carpets, door cards ( door cards are now a legal requirement for a road car btw - madness i know) soft top and motors, fitted a titanium exhaust and decat ... some light 16" track wheels .... maybe you'd shave 150 ... but then once you add a roll cage and beefcake in the drivers seat i reckon you'd be back up to the 1300 and more again.
Bloody hell you do look after it well. You might aswell keep it, but then on the other hand I think your efforts are wasted on whats just a leon and whats a weekend car to you.
Sell it, buy something special, a special weekend car and look after it like you have done the leon. Then 15 years from now this special car could start on the road of being a collectable. Im think a low production 2 seater type car. Perhaps a garage queen m3 csl, or a cayman spyder?
Not a bad Idea POV, had thought of that already but Wifey 'says NO'![]()
hmmm its only worth what someone is willing to pay, a pampered car will appeal to an enthusiast but not make it worth anymore. Price it up on we buy anycar and a £1500 to it, I did my 07 cupra a few weeks ago and it came out at £8600![]()
I think you'll find those WBAC guys wear very large stetsons.
