Hi Swen, I'm from Caen. I bought it second-hand from SEAT, but it didn't have the update. I'm trying to sort it out, but the dealership in Caen wants to charge me €120 (for a double update). I only have the 1-year Optoven warranty, but it doesn't cover updates unless there's an issue, and to be honest, I haven't had any bugs. Is it really risky to do the update myself in terms of the warranty?

Like the previous comments tell you, normally everything goes right, but there can be an issue while loading and than the unit is gone. Thats why I only do my updates with a high power charger unit connected.

Does anyone know if I can update my Cupra Formentor?
My current version is MOI3_EU_SE_R9400L - 1940.
I found a link that let me download this version: 5FA919360BB MOI3_EU_SE_R9690L_MU1969-001
But the 5FA... number doesn’t match what I have in my car — could that be a problem? Mine is 5FA035862R.
I’m desperately trying to activate wireless CarPlay using an OBDeleven PRO to unlock SFD (which I can’t manage to do on the 5F module).
I’d like to update everything to see if that might resolve the issue.

Hi Jack, 2 weeks ago I took my Leon to the Seat Service for annual check and they told me that the 1969 at the moment is the latest sw version.
In my opinion, it is incredible that the update does not happen automatically but it is necessary to go to the workshop to carry it out, it's expensive too.

I had the 1899 when I bought the car, I made by myself the updates by downloading them and using a pendrive.

Hi Teo, thanks for the info on the update. Ive had mine in twice now and its been 2 weeks and had no sos errors or glitches since so hopefully that has solved it.
