Hello!
The OTA update 1988 software arrived for Seat Leon today. I installed it smoothly, but I didn't experience any particular changes. I was waiting precisely because of Seat Connect, because I haven't been able to become a main user for almost a year. I can't even after countless emails, settings, and following instructions. It opens/closes with 2 factory keys, seat connect, and has an application... I've done everything I could... Is there anyone who has been in similar shoes?
Thanks in advance for your answers!
In Spain in these cases they have to reinstall the FW of one module.

Not sure, I do have Seat connect subscription though. This update was different to ones I’ve had in the past, came with warnings about not leaving dogs in car etc whilst updating, not driving whilst updating.
You get them free without a subscription if its deemed you need it, deemed I guess is the same whether you have a subscription or not. You'll get it. You might even get a radio logo updates as well after but not always. The only thing you dont get is the navigation update OTA without a subscription but there is a thread on that with the Vag server links.

Includes June 2025 release:

Instructions on the top post of that thread.

In my case nothing has improved. I have the same Apple Carplay bug as always. At some exact points in the city I live, it justs disconnects and then reconnects after 20sec. Every single time.

Hi, I‘ve been waiting (im)patiently for the 1988 update to come to my car since it was announced, but so far, nothing!

It’s very frustrating as my screen has an infuriating bug that keeps happening (basically, it resets some - but not all - settings back to factory defaults, and keeps starting the tutorial randomly).

However, I notice that my hardware revision is much later than other posters here (it’s H67) so I don’t know if SEAT are delaying pushing out my update, as I have newer/different hardware. Does anyone know anything about this? Has anyone else with H67 received the 1988 update yet?

It’s one of the last of the pre-facelift Cupra Leon eHybrids. I’m in the UK, and I have an active “My Cupra” online subscription.

Thanks

Wait a few more days, it's probably released in waves

I suffer from the exact same bug as you, although not for about 6 weeks now which is a new record!

Also UK based and not received 1988 yet, not sure what my card hardware is though off the top of my head, but hopefully it'll be pushed to us soon
