Good effort for having a go Jase!

Car is looking mint as ever there in the bay.

Thanks Tom, very much appreciated :).

Cracking job mate.

Do you not fancy posting the dimensions up? I fancy have a crack at this sometime in the future.

I sure can, let me measure the finished version this weekend when I drill the holes in it and rivet on the bracket to hold the bottom and front walls. The dimensions on that first cardboard cut out are a little off, I tweaked things here and there and now it's dead tight.

I've had a couple of people ask me to send them the template :D

Thumbs up Jay well done.

Thanks you my twin :).

Just ordered some PVCu edging to give it that 'Jabba' look, will spray with Hammerite this weekend hopefully and it'll be in.

Total cost: +/- £25 inc tin snips that I had to buy

Me either, I have a huge sense of achievement with this even though it's a simple enough thing to do :). It's nice to design something from stratch that is your own although by the looks of it a few others will be using the 'Jamspeed' shield in future.
+1 for Jamspeed :)

Looks great Jason. I should imagine that it'll look even better, and very oem, once painted black.

How's the car running? Well I hope?

+2 for Jamspeed!

James :)

Heat Shield DONE!

Loving the support for Jamspeed, I think I might get a sticker made up ;)

Well heatsheild is done! I planned on spraying it black but it really doesn't need it. I'm so pleased with this, it fits perfectly and looks great. Let me know what you think :)

I have also been sneaky and not reminded you of my exhaust plans. The car now has a true, full 3" TB system with one cylindrical silencer at the rear and it sounds awesome. Yes it is loud but this is what I wanted and I do however have the car popping all the time, I love it. The sound of this on full boost is just awesome, pics & vids to follow soon but I'm too busy driving it :D.

Looks 100 times better than the prototypes, but even so, good job from start to finish. You really could sell those shield's!

Where did you go for the exhaust mate? I really want to hear this! Sounds great.

This really does just show how much companies such as jabba rip us off.how much did this cost you to make? £10 max?

Thanks for the feedback, I am glad that you like my handywork :). Max cost of this inc all tools you'll need is £30 but then you have to be prepared to put in the work and be competant working with metal and design. I'd happily knock a few of these out to be honest but would only be good for 3" TIP where you can cut it to adjust it.

hello jamjay, just uploaded that video for you, the sound quality isnt great due to the big cooland fans on the dyno freezing me to death lol
my dv sound with badger 5 tip

Hi Sam, thanks for the link and video. Your car sounds great and that DV chatters nicely, which one is it? That isn't the sound I have though, wish it was DV chatter. I'm off out later to do some logs and vids.
