1st impressions are good Need to see some full side on pics though.

Looks like you've got a bit of stretch on the tyres? What width are the wheels and tyres? You running rear spacers?

There just 205/40/R 17's and there 7.5j wheels ,

And nope no spacers on ,im thinking of getting 5mm each side front and rear now tho.



The dustcaps as you say wont last long,Just seems to be a common Vdub/Dished wheels thing so i thought id try it out .

And yes the ground isnt flat so it looks like the front is higher than the back

U had any problems with the rozzers?

i might aswell ask you all the questions lol

1. Will they need aligning
2.what setting do you have the heigh adjuster in car on ?

Never had any problems with the police mate

No, because you are only changing the bulbs realy.

Same setting as I did before the HID's (zero).

Got them from Diane-shop on the bay clicky.

Nice on mine are currently on "0" aswell but bulbs blown today

Hehe thats cheered me up now i would certainly hope it is quicker now that crimbo.

My mates gonna fit them as he did his own on his LCR ,how long they take to fit coz the TDI's are fiddly

Only took 30-40 mins and thats with removing the battery as thats the only way to get to the passenger side..

I found the drivers side even harder when i was fitting me 501'S and i dropped the cover down into the engine bay so then had to find that

I just changed my bulbs and I needed the alighnment re-done. It's worth getting done, you might find it just a bit out. Only costs a few quid at any MOT garage

HID'S broke after 2 days -unsure if it was ballast or bulbs but their on there way back to Diane-Shop for replacement!

Picked up the PD160 intake from Mr_Dave tonight so thats been fitted

Quick update

EBC Grooved and Drilled Front Discs and EBC Greenstuff pads fitted !

And according to VAGCAT the Miltek FR exhaust system for the 1.9TDI will fit mine ( Yet to confirm this with miltek)
