Had the car a couple of years now and has had a few niggles latly which have really got to me and ive totally lost interest to be honest.

I`ve decided on a vx220, a tubby if the price is right - all in aid of cool summer fun [B)]
 
No benny!!! Come on mate the vx looks pants! the exhaust makes it look like a transformer car.
The one you have now shows brute force, and the vauxhal is merely a cheap version of the lotus!

I am afraid you'll regret this as many before you on here have.

what price you wanting for the car then mate? my mrs loves them!

she doesnt like my new one tho lol (nogutsnoglorys) to quick for her, so after somthing to replace our arosa
 
Keeping her now, going in for vr6/g60 clutch tommrow ready for when the hybrid goes on.

Only TIP and injectors left to get before the conversion can start :D

Out of interest what kind of figure would you be looking to offer?
 
Yeh now my trouble are sorted and im not seliing im able to do what i intended about 6 months ago!

Yeh cr turbos k03s hybrid and im getting Bill to map it with CC3, although CC have just retracted there 30% discount on CC3 which was a kick in the nuts.
 
Fair play! Will be interesting to see the results mate. I was looking at getting rid too, but struggling to find anything that takes my fancy so im seriously considering keeping mine and going for the Hybrid treatment too.

Has Bill given you a rough idea on expected power/torque figures?

Im just going to expect from what i have seen on here. So hopefully in the region on 280/290bhp & ~290lbft.

After deciding not to sell after the crap six months i had with the car i decided to start where i left off.

I`ve decided that im going down the k03s hybrid route as it saves alot of hassle messing around with DP`s water/oil lines etc.. everything attaches to the mods i have in place now manifold DP etc.. the only things i have to uprate are the injectors to LCR (bam) ones and also a 3" MAF housing and turbo intake pipe, i`ve also uprated the fuel pump to a BAM item for peace of mind on the flow side of things. Im hoping it should produce hopfuly a touch more than the k04, hopfully in the region on 280 - 290bhp and around 290lbft.

Mapping will be done by Bill at badger5 using CC3, in my eyes hes the right man to get the best out of the setup.

Abit miffed about the colour match of the TIP and elbow but im thinking of replacing this with a CAI into the wing or an alloy 45deg elbow.

There will be more updates as the im having a change around in the bay, trying to move away from the polished as its been done to death now, hoping for more of a motorsport look incorporating abit of euro, im going for matt black and red with touches of chrome plus trying to minimise things in the bay, header tank is now gone the battery and washer bottle will be relocated to the boot and alot of wire tucks/tidying.

Its turned out that ill also be able to afford a nice set of brembos aswell the only thing really missing IMO. Pics to follow.
