Had a little update from Bill just now, sounds like its all going well and hes almost done.

221g/s out of yours, 1.4bar at 6krpm good enough for ya?
spikes to 1.7bar, then drops from there.
goes pretty well.

same high airflow I see from k04 stage 2 LCR's - very respectable, and none of the GT2x crappy lag.

going to dial in a smidge more timing before I call it done.

As he said hes not quite done and theres a little more to come!

you are running the K04 TIP on their right from the enlargened inlet?

was this carried out by CRT?

EDIT, what air filter are you also running i.e. smoothed air box or cone filter with cold air feed?

Yeh turbo work carried out by CR turbo`s, k04 TIP is also being used.

Im running a jetex open cone filter with a 100mm cold air feed.

Do you have any logs of your gt2x setup?

Sounds like its going really well, cant wait to pick it up!

exact same setup as my intake as well then, so will hopefully see similar figures

I have logs of my gt2x yes, be interesting to compare. I know the hybrid k03s will kick it's a$$, in terms of spool etc etc (said by Bill many times, hence I am switching to this setup)

on a track I would not believe it for a second, nor a private road either, i.e. spool time and delivery of power out of the corners

in real terms, maybe 10-20bhp difference from a gt2x over a k03s hybrid...very little difference IMO and would certianly not lead to a "mullering"

whats the difference between the AM04 and CRT Hybrid?

Im not ure of the differences, im just saying there mde by two different people so in theory are to different turbos.

Would know be interesting to see what the Am04 spec is.

not sure we will ever find out, last time I heard, AM04 were going JAP....dont know if this ever happened

Im already back in love with it since i fitted the LCR pump with my k03s setup and it sorted the pulling back issue, the hybrid will be the icing on the cake!

you hardely mullered me mate and that was when it was losing boost and not running right at all. was miles better when i set it up properly but yours was too broken to come out for another play then lol

Anyway the spec on the Am04 if any one is intrested was:

AM04 is a unsilenced k03s (k04 internals, porting, balancing, interchangable bearing cartridge, larger impellor wheel, larger enterance etc etc)

Erm I mullered u in my k03s and it was Running right on the motorway.

Only when we was on the East lancs Did it start then Playin up...
